Typically, these applications require large quantities (in kilometers) of fiber to complete the conversion into a useful medical device.
For finished weaves or meshes, TissueGen refers interested clients to preferred medical textile partners including Biomedical Structures (BMS), who offer extensive expertise in generating these devices. Tailored fiber size and strength are critical parameters because the fiber must be capable of being woven, knitted or braided to provide the mechanical structural support demanded for specific medical applications.
