TissueGen to Showcase ELUTE Fiber for Advanced Drug Delivery, Nerve Regeneration and Tissue Engineering Applications at MD&M West

04 Feb TissueGen to Showcase ELUTE Fiber for Advanced Drug Delivery, Nerve Regeneration and Tissue Engineering Applications at MD&M West

WHO: TissueGen® Inc., developer of ELUTE® fiber, a groundbreaking biodegradable fiber format for advanced drug delivery nerve regeneration and tissue engineering.

WHAT: At MD&M West, TissueGen will be exhibiting its ELUTE fiber in booth #2996. TissueGen uses a patented, cutting-edge room temperature extrusion process to enable ELUTE fibers to be loaded with the widest variety of drugs and biologically-based entities possible for targeted delivery directly to internal sites. ELUTE fibers are available in pharmaceutical and growth factor formats ideal for a wide variety of medical and research applications including spinal cord injury repair, tissue engineering and nerve regeneration.

TissueGen’s technology is currently being applied by regenerative neurobiology experts from the University of Texas at Dallas towards a groundbreaking model for nerve regeneration that could improve current nerve repair strategies to optimize the regeneration of injured neurons and the recovery of function in patients suffering from paralysis without requiring tissue to be harvested from elsewhere in the patient’s body.
