WHO: Dr. Kevin Nelson, founder and CSO of TissueGen® Inc., developer of ELUTE® fiber, a groundbreaking biodegradable fiber format for advanced drug delivery.

WHAT: Dr. Nelson will present a segment titled “Advanced Drug Delivery from Biodegradable Polymers with ELUTE® Fiber” as part of the breakout “Drug Delivery Devices” track at the University of Texas System FreshAIR initiative. The event aims to create successful partnerships between UT System health institutions and the life sciences industry.

TissueGen’s ELUTE fibers can directly replace standard fibers used in biodegradable textiles currently on the market and provide significantly improved clinical outcomes by delivering therapeutic agents directly at the site of the implant. By delivering drugs at the site of implantation, ELUTE fibers enable medical devices to guide the body’s healing and regenerative processes.
