OUR PLATFORM

Our platform technology allows us to create formulations from a broad range of therapeutics, incorporating large structures from sensitive antibodies and growth factors to molecules that are typically incompatible with solvents and processing conditions that are routinely used to formulate polymeric delivery systems.

We tailor compounds into extended-release formulations to precisely meet even the most demanding delivery profiles. Using formats from microspheres to fibers, we design the right extended-release system for nearly any compartment in the body.

POLYMER BASED DRUG DELIVERY

TissueGen has in-depth experience in producing wet extruded, drug-loaded, biodegradable fibers. These fibers can release drugs over a range of days to months. Our fibers can be woven, knitted, braded, or used as independent sutures.

FIBERS

Coil.png

We have developed a method to set a fiber into a coil or other shape at low temperature. We can use this to create varied-pitch coils to provide three-dimensional drug concentration gradients.

COILS

Microparticles.png

We have developed a microparticle platform to encapsulate and deliver water-soluble drugs that can be readily injected through small gauge needles.

MICROPARTICLES

Nanoparticles.png

We have developed a proprietary process for creating nanoparticles that protect and enable the distribution of therapeutic agents into polymer solutions.
